🌿 Meet the Chocolatier

Hi!  Im Jewel, the founder and chocolatier behind Lerato Luxe Artisan Chocolate.

My journey into chocolate began about 4 years ago in Carbondale, Colorado when I had the opportunity to learn at a bean to bar chocolate shop. From the first day , I was hooked. Confectionery brought together everything I love- art, creativity, craftsmanship and just enough science to keep it interesting.

While that experience sparked my passion, much of what I know today has been self taught , taking many online classes, experimentation and a determination to improve my craft. From tempering chocolate and perfecting caramel to developing unique flavor combination, Ive embraced both the successes and the failures as part of the learning process.

Today, from Southern Oregon , I handcraft small batch chocolates and caramels inspired by seasonal ingredients, local flavors and unexpected pairings. I enjoy exploring the space where familiar comforts meet new discoveries- whether that's strawberry and pink peppercorn, blueberry and juniper or a silky hazelnut caramel. 

Every piece is made by hand, one small batch at a time. My goal is simple: to create confections that delight the senses and spark curiosity.
